Mikayla Hopper is the Director of Operations. She is a part-time member of the Hopper Consulting Team where she is responsible for establishing the infrastructure, policy, and processes needed for the upstart company.

Mikayla is an honors graduate from the University of Maryland Baltimore College (UMBC) completing a degree in Information Systems and Cybersecurity Informatics with a 4.0 GPA. She earned multiple academic awards to include the College of Engineering and Information Technology’s Undergraduate Student Research Award for her research on the The Evolution of Quantum-Safe VPNs.

Mikayla’s full-time position is a Critical Path Method (CPM) Developer at D&G Solutions where she is assigned to support the modernization of the US Army’s financial systems architecture with the deployment of the OneStream Commercial-off-the-Shelf software solution, which will replace a legacy Oracle Hyperion Planning tools.

Prior to her current role, Mikayla spent three years at Crowley Maritime working as a Systems Engineer and IT Asset Manager. While at Crowley she was formally recognize several times for exceptional teamwork and devising innovative security solutions.

Mikayla lives in Virginia where she is passionate about riding horses and volunteering in a thoroughbred rescue.
