Taona Enriquez

Biography:
Taona Enriquez is the Chief Executive Officer and founder of Space Coast Solutions, LLC. As an affiliate and friend, she serves Hopper Consulting clients as both a Business Development Consultant and government acquisition Subject Matter Expert (SME). Prior to becoming a consultant, she completed 23-years of service as a contracting and acquisition officer in the US Air Force. She retired in the grade of Colonel.
Taona’s distinguished military career included senior leadership roles with increasing levels of responsibility in both the Air Force and joint military assignments largely focused on strategy, organizational leadership, procurement, and acquisition. She has held multiple leadership and command positions at the Wing, Major Command, and Combatant Command level. Additionally, she operated as a contingency contractor during deployments to Pakistan and Afghanistan. Taona was competitively selected as a Defense Legislative fellow and was subsequently assigned as the Executive Assistant to the Supreme Allied Commander of Europe.
In her final assignment, she was Director of Contracting, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Contracting Directorate (AFLCMC), at Hanscom AFB, where she led a 500 personnel contracting workforce in support of a $43 billion portfolio, spanning across four PEOs and three Federally Funded Research and Development Centers.
Since retirement, Taona leads a consulting firm dedicated to challenging traditional approaches and delivering groundbreaking solutions for entrepreneurs, small businesses, industry and community partners. She drives a culture that emphasizes integrity, collaboration, and empowering others to succeed.
Taona has a Bachelors and a Masters of Public Administration from the University of New Mexico as well as graduate certificate from the University of North Carolina and the George Washington University.
Taona and her husband Rick live in Florida where they enjoy time in the sun with their four children and two grandchildren. Taona volunteers as a mentor to transitioning veterans.
